High Holidays and Wine: A Lecture by David Solomon at City Winery Pre-Opening

Location: City Winery, 143 Varick St. New York, NY

A lecture by David Solomon on the historical connection of wine and Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Special pre-opening look inside of City Winery for Tribeca Hebrew community and friends as a preparation for the upcoming Days of Awe.

David Solomon is an internationally renowned speaker, a scholar across numerous disciplines, and one of the most dynamic Jewish educators in the world today. David and his wife Marjorie live in Tel Aviv and are on tour of the US for this talk. Don’t miss the rare oppurtunity to hear this brilliant man inspire and educate before the High Holidays.

Space is limited to 74 people for this event, given the pre-opening legalities of the construction site. City Winery will actually be starting to crush and ferment grapes at this time and the restaurant/event space will be opening in November. Be one of the first to see this unique facility before it opens!
