Jewish Lifecycle

The 4th Grade learns about the Jewish Life Cycle and more Jewish Folktales. The fourth grade students will explore the Jewish rituals surrounding each of the major life cycle events – from birth (and brit) to old age and death. For each unit, they will also begin to read, translate and explore Hebrew texts relating to the events. This year, the 4th graders will be connecting with 4th graders in Israel through a Pen Pal exchange.
Class time: 3:45-5:45pm
